Tyranna Resources given heritage clearance at Jumbuck
THE DRILL SERGEANT: Tyranna Resources (ASX: TYX) has received heritage clearance for its 100 per cent-owned tenement EL5526, also known as Golf Bore North and part of the company’s Jumbuck gold project, following a site visit by the Antakirinja Matu – Yankunytjatjara Aboriginal Corporation (AMYAC).
Having gained the clearance Tyranna can now include planned drilling at Golf Bore North in a Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program that is currently underway.
“The program is ongoing and to date approximately 2,800 metres have been completed with results of the first seven holes expected soon,” Tyranna Resources said in its ASX announcement.
Tyranna indicated it expects the drilling at Golf Bore North prospect, together with the drilling currently underway, could double the potential strike length of the target resource at Golf Bore to approximately 1.5 kilometres.
The Golf Bore and Golf Bore North prospects are approximately 47kms north-east of the Challenger mine site, and represent the first of several targets selected by the company since it became Tyranna Resources following the merger of Ironclad Mining and Trafford Resources, to provide a gold resource inventory, in preparation for early production.
