Cassini Resources hits strong conductors at One Tree Hill

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Cassini Resources (ASX: CZI) has received assay and down-hole EM surveying results from a recently completed diamond hole CZD0008, undertaken on the One Tree Hill prospect, located within the company’s 100 per cent-owned West Musgrave project in Western Australia.

Cassini said down-hole EM (DHEM) surveying of CZD0008 at the One Tree Hill prospect identified two off-hole EM conductors with modelled conductance of around 100,000 Siemens.

The company has interpreted these conductors to have complex 3-dimensional geometries.

Both were narrowly missed by the drilling of CZD0008, possibly by as little as 5m according to the company – approximately 330 metres below surface.

The company is optimistic the high-grade copper hits demonstrate the potential of the system with Chalcopyrite veins in the upper parts of CZD0008 having returned intercepts of:

0.3 metres at 10.1 per cent copper from 193.8m; and

0.4m at 4.48 per cent copper from 250.9m.

“We are extremely pleased with the results from One Tree Hill considering the early stage nature of exploration completed to date,” Cassini Resources managing director Richard Bevan said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“The off-hole conductors identified represent compelling drill targets that will be tested as part of Cassini’s future drilling program.

“We have already demonstrated the inherent value of our West Musgrave project with the Nebo-Babel Scoping Study, but this is just a small fraction of our 1,500 square kilometre land holding.
