“Our infill drilling continues to add more shallow high‐ grade gold intercepts to AG Core,” Tietto Minerals managing director Dr Caigen Wang said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“These intercepts provide confirmation of the continuity of these plunging high‐grade shoots from close‐spaced 25 metre drilling.

“These latest results are from an expanded infill drilling program aiming to grow our Measured Resources over a 2.9 kilometres strike between Section Lines 0 to 29 at AG Core and AG South, as we expect to mine these areas during the first two years of Abujar gold production.

“Our exploration team is in the process of moving four of our DD rigs to test exploration targets on the main Abujar Shear, which remains still largely untested, and undertake new resource definition drilling.

“We are fully funded to production at Abujar, which has potential to be one of the largest gold producing mines in Côte d’Ivoire, with an expected production of 260,000 ounces of gold in the first year and 1.2 million ounces of gold in the first six years.

“Tietto has an experienced team on board to deliver Abujar on time and on budget.

“We are on track to deliver another mineral resource update this year.”

“I am very pleased to see further high‐grade intercepts from the second batch of assay results for infill drilling at AG South, where we are targeting the conversion of Indicated Resources to Measured Resources in areas that are likely to be mined within the first two years of gold production,” Tietto Minerals managing director Dr Caigen Wang said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Our diamond drilling teams are achieving very high drilling rates due to the shallower hole depths required for infill drilling.

“This has allowed us to expand the program as we target a contiguous zone of Measured Resources between Section Lines 0 to 29 (AG South and AG Core) and within the first two years of production.

“At current rates, we now expect this drilling phase to be completed by mid‐June 2022.

“Our drill rigs have also been active on prospects located north (GGL) and south (AGM, PGL) of AG with the goal of defining new gold resources in a MRE update planned for later this year.

“We will report these results as they come to hand. Our exploration team is going to be busy for many years testing the prospectivity of the still largely untested potential of the main Abujar Shear.”

Tietto Minerals Drills Best Abujar Gold Hit to Date

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Tietto Minerals (ASX: TIE) reported project best high‐grade gold results from infill drilling completed at the Abujar‐Gludehi (AG) deposit, part of the company’s Abujar gold project in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa.

Tietto Minerals’ project best results include:

ZDD895 – Section 14B
25.4 metres at 131.1 grams per tonne gold from 36.6m, including 8m at 393.6g/t gold from 38m, including 3.4m at 917.6g/t gold, including 1.1m at 2,853g/t gold; and
12m at 14.6g/t gold from 50m, including 2m at 84.5g/t gold.

Tietto Minerals explained diamond hole ZDD895 is part of recently completed AG Core infill drilling thathad been designed to convert Abujar AG Indicated Resources (35Mt at 1.5g/t gold for 1.65Moz) to Measured – targeting the first two years of Abujar’s gold producti.

“This fantastic intercept of 1.1 metres at 2,853 grams per tonne gold from our infill drilling program at AG is our best achievement to date,” Tietto Minerals managing director Dr Caigen Wang said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“This bonanza gold intercept is located close to surface in fresh mineralisation and combined with the multiple high‐grade intercepts we have reported from our infill drilling, it is expected these will have a material impact on the first years of open pit mining at Abujar.

“Our exploration team is using these latest results to refine our drill targeting of the high‐grade shoots within the Abujar main shear.

“Results from our drilling continue to demonstrate high grades present in this large system and with more than 70 kilometres of strike at Abujar and achieving 100,000 metres of drilling a year; we think there is great potential to deliver more intersections like these.”
