Exore Resources Encounters Gold mineralisation in Fresh Rock

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Exore Resources (ASX: ERX) encountered high-grade, free-milling gold when drilling the first hole drilled into fresh rock at the Veronique gold discovery within the company’s Bagoe project in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

Exore had announced results from initial AC drilling at Veronique in March 2019.

The company’s recent drilling has consisted broad spaced AC drill traverses, focussed on just the central 1.6 kilometres of the eight-kilometre-long gold-in-soil anomaly, intersecting high-grade, in-situ gold mineralisation across multiple lodes gold mineralisation.

According to Exore, the AC drilling has identified at least five sub-parallel zones of gold mineralisation with each zone extending over strike lengths of greater than 1,000 metres.

Over 80 per cent of the 8km gold-in-soil anomaly at Veronique remains untested.

He latest drilling involved a single diamond core hole that was drilled to test for down dip extensions of high-grade gold mineralisation into the fresh rock, to provide further geological information to assist in future drill hole planning and to provide samples in the fresh rock for preliminary metallurgical test work.

Diamond hole BDDD0006 returned 8 metres at 7.74 grams per tonne gold from 78m in fresh rock beneath a well-developed zone of weathering extending to around 70m depth.

Exore claimed this intercept confirms down dip mineralisation from previous AC intercepts of: 12m at 7g/t gold from 16m and 12m at 3.12g/t gold from 36m.

“Veronique is shaping up as a high-grade gold discovery with exciting scale potential given the extent of the high tenor gold in soil anomalism over eight kilometres by two kilometres,” Exore Resources managing director Justin Tremain said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“Aircore drilling to date has been defining widespread oxide gold mineralisation and now, with just a single diamond hole, we have demonstrated that high-grade gold mineralisation extends into the fresh rock.

“Preliminary metallurgical test work indicates the gold mineralisation at Veronique to be free milling with good gold recoveries in fresh rock.

“Exore’s exploration efforts will be focussed primarily on Veronique over the coming six to 12 months, along with some further drilling targeting additional shallow oxide gold mineralisation at the Antoinette area just 12 kilometres to the north.”

Exore Resources’ Bagoe project is in a major gold producing region with several nearby large operating gold mines including Barrick’s 4.2 million ounce Tongon and 6.5 million ounce Morila mines, Resolute’s 11.5 million ounce Syama mine, Teranga’s 2.7 million ounce Wahgnion mine and Perseus’ 1 million ounce Sissingue mine.

Exore Resources Confirms Veronique Gold Discovery

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Exore Resources (ASX: ERX) declared that results from ongoing shallow aircore (AC) drilling had confirmed the company’s emerging Veronique gold discovery in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

Exore Resources said the results had provided progress towards the company’s objective of defining a multi-million-ounce gold project in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

The ongoing AC drilling at Veronique intersected high-grade, shallow gold mineralisation the company said produced evidence of a new gold discovery with large-scale potential.

Results from the latest broad-spaced, shallow AC drilling include:

12 metres at 7 grams pe tonne gold from 16m;
12m at 3.12g/t gold from 36m;
1m at 38.01g/t gold from 28m (EOH); and
8m at 2.23g/t gold from 48m.

“We remain extremely excited about the potential for a large-scale gold discovery at Veronique with these latest exceptional shallow aircore results,” Exore Resources managing director Justin Tremain said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“This latest drilling has resulted in an interpreted WNW strike orientation to the mineralisation which opens up the potential for a large array of kilometre scale sub-parallel mineralised lodes across many kilometres in width.

“The improved confidence in the strike orientation allows for ongoing infill and step out aircore drilling during the wet season in preparation for maiden RC drilling at the start of the dry season.”

Exore Resources Encouraged by Liberty Drilling Results

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Exore Resources (ASX: ERX) released results from its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the company’s Liberty project in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

Exore Resources explained this to be the first ever RC drilling at the Liberty project and has intersected multiple, shallow mineralised lodes along 1,600 metres of strike at the Liberty 2 prospect.

Results included:

13 metres at 2.57 grams per tonne gold from 4m;
7m at 3.67g/t gold from 53m;
6m at 4.28g/t gold from 49m; and
8m at 2.50g/t gold from 36m.

Exore claimed the initial phase of RC drilling at Liberty 2 intersected high-grade gold in both oxide and fresh rock beneath aircore (AC) drilling intercepts.

The mineralisation remains open at depth and in all directions.

“We are pleased to announce these exciting results from the first ever RC drilling undertaken within the Liberty project,” Exore Resources managing director Justin Tremain said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“The first pass RC drilling at Liberty 2 was wide spaced at 100 to 200 metres and represents the third discovery area for the Exore team.

“Like Antoinette and Veronique, Liberty 2 has substantial scale potential with mineralisation defined over 1,600 metres of strike.

“The results continue to demonstrate the potential to define substantial gold resources within Exore’s Cote d’Ivoire gold project.

“Two rigs continue to operate continuously, and we look forward to reporting further drilling results from Veronique and Antoinette shortly.”

Exore is continuing to operate two rigs on site at the company’s Bagoe project with an RC rig concentrating on the Antoinette region that will be drilling further resource definition holes in the Central zone, as well as further exploration holes in the West, South and East zones and other target areas.

Further RC results from the Antoinette area are expected in the coming weeks.

An AC rig is undertaking drilling at the large, high tenor Veronique gold-in-soil anomaly, following up on the firts five aircore lines, spaced 400m apart, testing the central 1.6 kilometres of the plus-eight-kilometre Veronique target, which previously returned highly anomalous results.

Exore Resources Grows Antoinette Gold Region

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Exore Resources (ASX: ERX) has completed drilling that as extended the Antoinette region at the company’s Bagoe project in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

Exore Resources claimed a new bedrock discovery at ‘Antoinette South’ along strike of the Central zone, with multiple shallow, mineralised lodes intersected, all of which remain open.

First pass RC results include:

16m @ 1.97g/t gold from 139m;
14m @ 2.06g/t gold from 30m;
11m @ 2.39g/t gold from 37m;
10m @ 1.83g/t gold from 62m.

At Antoinette Central further shallow, high-grades were intersected by RC resource definition drilling, extending drilled strike length to 850m remaining open in all directions.

Further results include:

5m @ 3.78g/t gold from 74m;
4m @ 4.84g/t gold from 106m;
7m @ 2.14g/t gold from 114m;
2m @ 6.79g/t gold from 2m;
9m @ 1.28g/t gold from 58m; and
4m @ 2.56g/t gold from 36m.

A gap measuring 900m by 400m between Antoinette Central and Antoinette South remains untested, although Exore indicated a geochemistry and structural interpretation highlighted the intersection of south-west and north-east trends as a priority drill target.

The company claimed another new bedrock discovery at the Antoinette East target.

Artisanal mine workings indicate some 600m of potentially mineralised strike with first pass RC drilling returning high-grades, including 5m at 18.71g/t gold from 64m.

An outstanding AC result was achieved at Antoinette West of 30m at 1.05g/t gold from 8m (ended in grade), testing northern strike extension.

Exore declared the exploration drilling a ‘success’, having attained its goal of identifying new resource targets and confirming Antoinette as a substantial gold system.

RC drilling is ongoing at Antoinette and AC drilling continues at Veronique.

“The completion of around 8,500 metres Phase One RC resource definition drilling at Antoinette Central, provided the first opportunity to undertake reconnaissance RC drilling on a number of the surrounding untested targets,” Exore Resources managing director Justin Tremain said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“Each of these targets has delivered excellent results, with the Antoinette South discovery being extremely encouraging.

“Drilling results at Antoinette South, combined with soil sampling geochemical data and structural interpretation, show the potential for north-west strike extension of the South zone to intersect the south-west strike extensions of the Central zone, providing an exciting and priority drill target.

“These latest RC and AC results from exploration drilling in the southern, eastern and western areas of Antoinette show the potential to delineate a truly substantial gold system.

“Two rigs continue to operate at Antoinette and Veronique, and we are looking forward to reporting further exciting drilling results from each area in the coming weeks.”

Exore Resources Claims New Cote d’Ivoire Gold Discovery

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Exore Resources (ASX: ERX) claimed a new gold discovery at the company’s Bagoe project in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

Exore Resources made the claim following the receipt of results from initial reconnaissance aircore (AC) drilling at the Veronique target whilst progressing its objective of defining a multi-million-ounce gold project in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

The company declared initial AC drilling results at the Veronique target achieved the aim of identifying widespread in-situ gold mineralisation and highlighting a new gold discovery.

Shallow intersections from the broad spaced AC drilling include:

12m at 3.63 grams per tonne gold from 4m;
4m at 7.58g/t gold from 20m, including 4m at 10.12g/t gold from 8m;
4m at 4.45g/t gold from 12m;
4m at 3.31 g/t gold from 16m; and
8m at 2.71g/t gold from 0m.

The results are from five wide-spaced AC traverses that tested 1.6 kilometres of strike of the 8km long, 2km wide Veronique anomaly.

The drilling encountered multiple shallow mineralised zones defined over the 1.6km of tested strike with all mineralised zones remaining open with highly anomalous geochemistry for 3.5km to north and 3km to the south.

The drilling is continuing with both step out drilling along strike and infill drilling underway to better define orientation of mineralisation.

“It has been just six months since acquiring the Cote d’Ivoire projects and every target we have drilled has returned exceptional results,” Exore Resources managing director Justin Tremain said in the company’s announcement t othe Australian Securities Exchange.

“We are extremely excited by the results from the first ever drilling at Veronique which confirm the potential for a significant new gold discovery and is a significant to step to achieving our objective of defining a multimillion-ounce gold project.

“The scale of Veronique is hugely exciting with over 80 per cent of the prospect still untested.

“We continue to have two rigs drilling and we look forward to reporting further drilling results from our aggressive exploration program.”
