Dreadnought Resources Completes Mangaroon Drilling

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) was up with the sparrows today to let market pundits know of the completion of recent drilling activities at the Money Intrusion, part of the company’s Mangaroon nickel-copper-PGE project in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources reported drilling of twelve RC holes to confirm nickel-copper-PGE mineralisation, to better understand the morphology of the Money Intrusion, and to provide down hole EM survey platforms to explore the intrusion at depth.

The company claimed the drilling confirmed visual disseminated to net-textured/brecciated sulphide mineralisation in nine of the twelve holes drilled.

Drilling of the intrusion is said to have confirmed a bladed /funnel like shape with magmatic sulphides occurring along the base of the intrusion highlighting the potential for sulphide accumulations at depth.

Dreadnought said the presence of high-tenor magmatic sulphides at the base of the intrusion confirms the intrusion as fertile and highly prospective for nickel-copper-PGE mineralisation.

Down hole EM surveys will commence in July 2022 with survey and assay results expected in July/August 2022.

“The potential of the Money Intrusion to host significant, high tenor nickel-copper-PGE mineralisation has been underscored with nine out of twelve drill holes intersecting disseminated to net-textured nickel-copper sulphides along both sides of a bladed to funnel shaped mafic intrusion,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“With only a handful of relatively shallow holes drilled to date, the Dreadnought-First Quantum team have confirmed a large scale, fertile nickel-copper-PGE system.

“We look forward to the down hole EM survey and assay results and working together with First Quantum to determine the next steps in testing the Money Intrusion.”

Dreadnought Resources Commences Mangaroon Drilling

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) left the 2022 RIU Sydney Resources Roundup making a beeline to commence RC drilling at the company’s Mangaroon project in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources informed the market that drilling has commenced at the Money Intrusion nickel-copper-PGE prospect (First Quantum Minerals JV) where nine holes are to be drilled targeting an approx. 1.2 kilometres long gossanous horizon with coincident EM anomaly and other sub-cropping gossanous outcrops and undercover magnetic features.

Once initial drilling is complete, a DHEM survey will be undertaken with results expected in June/July 2022.

“Dreadnought is excited to commence its first drill program at the Mangaroon project,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Drilling will initially target the previously undrilled gossanous horizon along the Money Intrusion where work over the past year has defined robust nickel-copper-PGE targets.

“Once this program is completed, we will prepare for drilling the 100 per cent-owned REE ironstones and carbonatites.

“The team, our stakeholders and our partners at First Quantum Minerals have worked exceptionally hard over the past year to get this project granted, targets defined and approvals in place.

“We can’t wait to see what the drilling produces.”

Dreadnought Resources Commences Regional Auger Program at Tarraji-Yampi

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) has been able to commence exploration activities earlier than anticipated at the Tarraji-Yampi prospect, in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources has kicked off a low impact auger sampling system that was specially designed for Taraji-Yampi allowing the company to commence exploration earlier in the season, before road access has been re-established, extending and maximizing the dry season activities.

Dreadnought explained the auger program will sample through shallow black plain soil that obscures mineralisation like that it discovered at Orion in 2021.

As the first program of its kind across Tarraji-Yampi, Dreadnought believes it could lead to identification of additional mineralisation across the project.

The program will take 2-3 months including infill sampling of anomalous areas.

Regional targets defined by the auger program will be drilled in August/September 2022.

“This is the first program of its kind at Tarraji-Yampi,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“The program allows us to identify mineralisation below the black plain soils that can obscure massive sulphide deposits such as Orion.

“This is a game changer in an area which has not been explored since the 1970s.

“By taking the learnings from our 2021 program, including an orientation program over the Orion discovery, we have been able to deploy a new technique that will provide the geochemical data needed to discover the rest of Orion’s friends at Tarraji-Yampi.”

Dreadnought Resources Reports Further High Grades From Orion Discovery

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) announced assay results from drilling at the company’s Tarraji-Yampi project located in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources completed drilling at the Orion target it claimed to have confirmed Orion as a high-grade copper (up to 12.5%), silver (up to 192g/t), gold (up to 34.2g/t), cobalt (up to 1.66%) and zinc (up to 4.3%) massive sulphide discovery with mineralisation commencing from just 1m under cover, extending to at least 240m along strike and 150m down dip.

Orion remains open along strike and at depth. Geophysical modelling indicates the mineralised body could extend to at least 500m depth.

Drilling returned intercepts including:

KMRC047
12 metres at 3 per cent copper, 21.4 grams per tonne silver, 1.7g/t gold, 0.02 per cent cobalt from 1m, including 5m at 5.9 per cent copper, 44.9g/t silver, 3.7g/t gold, 0.01 per cent cobalt from 1m; and

KMRC039
20m at 1.4 per cent copper, 13.4g/t silver, 0.5g/t gold, 0.03 per cent cobalt from 3m, including 3m at 7.6 per cent copper, 116g/t silver, 2.2g/t gold, 0.14 per cent cobalt from 18m.

“Orion continues to deliver high-grade copper-silver-gold-cobalt-zinc intercepts and indications to date are that we have only begun to scratch the surface,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Furthermore, interpretation of the mineralisation system appears to be similar in character to the magmatic-hydrothermal deposits in the Mt Isa region of Queensland.

“This will form a working hypothesis for future targeting and interpretation of results.

“Furthermore, we have now proven that low-impact, shallow auger drilling can be deployed to screen targets prior to RC drilling.

“This will also provide an invaluable tool to assist in unlocking this developing mineral province.”

Dreadnought Resources Confirms High-Grade Orion Discovery

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) claimed confirmation of a high-grade copper, silver, gold and cobalt massive sulphide discovery at the Orion prospect, part of the company’s Tarraji-Yampi project in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources reported the discovery via assay results from the first six mineralised follow-up holes drilled at Orion.

The company said the drilling confirmed Orion as a high-grade copper (up to 7.4%), silver (up to 192g/t), gold (up to 34.2g/t) and cobalt (up to 1.66%) massive sulphide discovery with mineralisation commencing from just one metre under cover, extending to at least 240m along strike and 150m down dip.

Orion currently remains open along strike and at depth, however geophysical modelling indicates the mineralised body could extend to at least 500m depth.

“With multiple thick, high-grade intercepts now confirmed we are delighted to declare Orion a high-grade copper-silver-gold-cobalt discovery occurring just one metre below surface,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“With 13 mineralised holes remaining to be assayed, including our deepest, and our oxide and supergene intercepts, we expect more high-grade intercepts to come.

“This is an amazing outcome from what is our second ever drill program at Tarraji-Yampi, the first programs here since 1958/1972 and an indication of the potential for this highly prospective and underexplored ground to produce more discoveries.”

Dreadnought Resources Hits Massive Sulphides at Orion

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) reported encountering massive sulphide mineralisation in multiple holes on the Orion copper-gold-silver-cobalt target at the company’s Tarraji-Yampi project in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources has completed eight RC drill holes to date at Orion, six of which intersected massive sulphides, confirming base metal mineralisation over 120 metres of strike and remaining open in all directions.

“We are off to an encouraging start with our drilling program at Orion,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Strong mineralisation has been observed in six of eight holes with copper, cobalt and zinc sulphide mineralisation present.

“Down hole EM is currently underway to assist with our targeting at Orion.

“Orion remains open in all directions.

Drilling at Fuso, and Grant’s Find will commence tomorrow and will be followed by the balance of the Orion program on the back of the down hole EM results.

“Orion, Fuso and Grant’s Find are considered to be part of a large mineralised system and this program is well on its way to providing the framework to determine the scale of the opportunity.”

Dreadnought Resources Drilling Points to Potential Large System at Tarraji-Yampi

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) managed to get a few assays rushed through the lab of one-metre samples from a recently completed RC drilling program at the company’s Tarraji-Yampi project in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Of the total of 1,542 samples collected during the drilling program, 283 were rushed with the remaining assays expected in September 2021.

The assay results received include drilling at the Orion, Grant’s Find and Fuso targets, returning:

Orion

KMRC0107
12 metres at 1.6 per cent copper, 31.7 grams per tonne silver and 0.5g/t gold from 45m;

Grant’s Find

KMRC016
10m at 2.3 per cent copper, 0.1g/t gold and 0.03 per cent cobalt from 101m, including 4m at 4.9 per cent copper, 0.2g/t gold and 0.07 per cent cobalt from 106m; and

Fuso

KMRC012
1m at 2.1 per cent copper, 3.9g/t silver, 0.1g/t gold and 0.2 per cent cobalt from 90m.

Dreadnought said the results from Orion, Grant’s Find and Fuso demonstrate a strong copper-gold-silver style of mineralisation with associated cobalt, bismuth and antimony (up to 0.1% – 0.2%) metal association.

The company interpreted the results to suggest this association indicates that all three targets are potentially part of a larger mineralisation system.

“Confirming a potentially large-scale copper-gold-silver-cobalt-bismuth-antimony system is extremely exciting,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Furthermore, there is clearly unfinished business at all three targets – Orion, Grant’s Find and Fuso.

“At Orion, it would appear that we only nicked the edge of the target.

“At Grant’s Find we returned our best results to date and this area continues to build.

“Fuso surprised in the sense that we did not explain the magnetic anomaly while still intersecting mineralisation – a near miss.

“Remaining assays are expected in September 2021 and we are incorporating these results into planning our next drill program in September 2021.”

Dreadnought Resources hits Mineralisation in Multiple Tarrji-Yampi Targets

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Dreadnought Resources (ASX: DRE) reported completion of a RC drilling program at the company’s Tarraji-Yampi project in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Dreadnought Resources drilled 18 RC holes across the Chianti, Fuso, Paul’s Find, Grant’s Find and Orion targets, encountering mineralisation and/or alteration across most.

The drilling returned several intercepts, including thick chalcopyrite rich massive and semi-massive sulphides in the first hole ever drilled into Orion.

The results included:

13 metres of massive to semi-massive sulphides intersected at Orion containing around 5 to 20 per cent chalcopyrite (copper sulphide); and

5m of chalcopyrite-rich quartz veining (around 10 to 30 per cent chalcopyrite) at Grant’s Find.

“Intersecting massive copper bearing sulphide in the first hole drilled at Orion is a watershed moment for the Tarraji-Yampi project,” Dreadnought Resources managing director Dean Tuck said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Furthermore, significant mineralisation and/or alteration was intersected at Grant’s Find, Fuso, Paul’s Find and Chianti with a number of targets still to be tested and new targets emerging.

“We have rushed assays and expedited downhole and surface geophysical surveys to assist with prioritising follow up drilling.

“Our obvious priorities are Orion and Grant’s Find with other priorities to be set as further information is forthcoming.

“We look forward to returning in September 2021 with follow-up RC drilling and to completing the diamond program at Texas in the meantime.”
