Astral Resources Hits Further Wide High-Grade Intercepts at Kamperman

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) reported results from the final holes of an in-fill and extensional RC drill program completed at the Kamperman prospect, part of the company’s 100 per cent-owned Feysville gold project south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Astral Resources said assays received from the final holes had confirmed the high-grade nature and upside potential of the Kamperman deposit.

Results of the 31-hole RC program were not included in the maiden Kamperman Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) Astral announced earlier in November 2024 of 2 million tonnes at 1.3 grams per tonne gold for 83,800 ounces of contained gold.

The company said the results demonstrate the opportunity for continued MRE growth at Kamperman.

Best results included:

FRC387
33 metres at 3.75 grams per tonne gold from 58m, including 3m at 14.8g/t gold from 75m;

FRC389
10m at 1.63g/t gold from 131m and 22m at 5.21g/t gold from 149m, including 2m at 30.9g/t gold from 164m and 2m at 12.2g/t gold from 168m;

FRC388
22m at 4.44g/t gold from 105m, including 2m at 25.9g/t gold from 121m; and

FRC385
6m at 12.8g/t gold from 76m, including 1m at 63.4g/t gold from 77m;

“Following the recent release of the maiden Kamperman MRE, it is highly encouraging to now be reporting further high-grade in-fill results and a successful drill test of a previously identified high-grade zone,” Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“These results highlight the potential for MRE upside at Kamperman.

“The in-fill drill line (FRC387, FRC388 and FRC389) testing the high-grade southern zone at Kamperman returned excellent results.

“These three in-fill holes averaged a gold accumulation of 112 gram-metres through this high-grade southern zone.

“This is clearly a very successful in-fill test and bodes well for the potential to upgrade the MRE in this area.”

The Feysville project hosts a MRE of 5 million tonnes at 1.2 grams per tonne gold for 196,000 ounces of contained gold across the Kamperman, Think Big and Rogan Josh deposits.

The company considers this provides a strong foundation for the project to become a source of satellite ore feed for a future operation based on its flagship Mandilla gold project.

Astral Resources Hits Big Gold at Kamperman Prospect

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) reported a big gold hit from an extensional RC drill program underway at the company’s 100 per cent-owned Feysville gold project outside Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Astral Resources has received assay results for the first 20 holes of the 31-hole in-fill and extensional RC drill program being carried out at the Kamperman prospect.

Of these, RC hole FRC378 stood out, returning highly encouraging intercepts, including:

12 metres at 7.26 grams per tonne gold from 23m, and
25m at 24.3g/t gold from 68m, including a very high-grade zone of 3m at 177g/t gold from 74m.

Othe results included:

FRC377
12m at 1.96g/t gold from 20m and 5m at 1.25g/t gold from 58m; and

FRC372
4m at 2.95g/t gold from 61m and
11m at 0.96g/t gold from 91m.

Astral has been encouraged by the results from RC holes FRC377 and FRC378 and now has diamond drilling (DD) is planned in this area to better understand the orientation of the very high-grade zone encountered in hole FRC378.

“These latest holes at Kamperman continue to surprise to the upside – showing that there is a potentially very significant high-grade opportunity here that we are yet to unlock,” Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Previously, FRC243 returned a very high-grade zone of two metres at 188g/t gold from 77 metres, 40 metres to the north-east.

“FRC378 has now returned another very high-grade zone of three metres at 177g/t gold from 74 metres.

“Previous diamond drilling that was completed to better understand the potential orientation of this very high-grade zone was not successful; however, given the potential size of the prize, additional work is warranted.”

Astral Resources Confirm Kamperman Potential from Further RC Drill Results

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) reported assay results from recently conducted RC drilling at the Kamperman prospect within the company’s 100 per cent-owned Feysville gold project near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Astral Resources received assay results for the final three holes from what was a 26-hole RC infill and extensional drilling program at the Kamperman prospect that included:

FRC350
10 metres at 5.04 grams per tonne gold from 99m; and

FRC360
32 metres at 2.13g/t gold from 125m.

The company explained the in-fill drilling results continue to support its interpretation of a very continuous, steeply west-dipping, zone of high-grade gold mineralisation in the southern part of the deposit.

A maiden Mineral Resources Estimate (MRE) for Kamperman is scheduled to be reported in the September Quarter as part of an updated MRE for the broader Feysville gold project.

Feysville already hosts an MRE of 3 million tonnes at 1.3g/t gold for 116,000 ounces of contained gold at the Think Big deposit, which Astral considers being a foundation for the project to potentially become a source of satellite ore feed for a future operation based on its nearby Mandilla gold project.

“We had already considered this 26-hole drill program to be the most successful program completed to date at Kamperman, and when you include these final three holes – we are now certain of it!” Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler exclaimed in the company’s ASX announcement.

“These latest results strengthen our geological interpretation of a broad, 30-metre-wide zone of consistent high-grade gold mineralisation across multiple sections in the southern part of the Kamperman deposit.

“This bodes well for the upcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Kamperman as part of the wider Feysville gold project.

“The exploration focus has now returned to the Theia deposit, the cornerstone of our flagship Mandilla gold project, where the first phase of a new infill RC drilling program commenced early this month.

“On completion of the phase one program, Astral will return to Feysville for further in-fill and extensional RC drilling at Kamperman, as well as follow up on two significant greenfield gold anomalies announced in July 2024 to the north-west of Kamperman.”

Astral Resources Completed Rogan Josh In-Fill Drilling Ahead of MRE

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) reported final assay results from drilling undertaken at the company’s 100 per cent-owned Feysville gold project outside Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Astral Resources received assays from the remaining 16 holes of a 32-hole RC drilling program completed at the Rogan Josh prospect.

Results from the Rogan Josh in-fill program include:

FRC325
8 metres at 1.35g/t Au from 55 metres;

FRC287
8m at 1.28g/t Au from 43 metres; and

FRC326
5m at 1.79g/t Au from 32 metres.

The Feysville project hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 3 million tonnes at 1.3 grams per tonne gold for 116,000 ounces of contained gold at the Think Big deposit.

Astral believes this to be a sound foundation to potentially become a source of satellite ore feed to a future operation based on the company’s flagship Mandilla gold project approximately 50km to the south.

“Recent exploration activity at Feysville demonstrated the potential of the project to provide multiple gold deposits capable of producing satellite feed for the 2.5 million tonnes per annum Mandilla process plant contemplated in the September 2023 Scoping Study,” Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“The recently completed drill programs will provide critical data into Mineral Resource Estimates for the Feysville project, being Think Big, Rogan Josh and Kamperman.

“The previously reported Think Big MRE of 116,000 ounces was unconstrained (not reported within an optimised pit shell), so it is expected a small decrease will be incurred when applying open pit constraints as is best practice.

“On the upside, we are very confident that inaugural contributions from Kamperman and Rogan Josh will see a material increase in the aggregate Mineral Resources at Feysville following the positive exploration results reported, primarily at Kamperman, over the last 18 months or so.”

Astral indicated it has plans underway for a RC in-fill program at the Theia deposit within the Mandilla gold project it anticipates will support an MRE update for Mandilla ahead of detailed mine design for the Mandilla Pre-Feasibility Study.

Astral Resources Drills Consistent High-Grade Gold at Kamperman

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) reported assay results received for the first four holes of a recently completed 19-hole reverse circulation (RC) program at the Kamperman prospect, part of the company’s 100 per cent-owned Feysville gold project outside Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Astral Resources’ Feysville project hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 3 million tonnes at 1.3 grams per tonne gold for 116,000 ounces of contained gold at the Think Big deposit, which the company considers a foundation to potentially become a source of satellite ore feed to a future operation based at its main Mandilla gold project, located just down the road.

Latest results from the Kamperman prospect include:

FRC267
14 metres at 0.98 grams per tonne gold from 25m and 35m at 3.81g/t gold from 86m, including 1m at 11.7g/t gold from 96m, 2m at 12g/t gold from 105m and 1m at 19.2g/t gold from 114m;

FRC269
13m at 1.55g/t gold from 141m and 3m at 2.54g/t gold from 177m; and

FRC268
10m at 0.95g/t gold from 189m.

“These latest RC results from the first four holes of a 19-hole drill program have further reinforced the potential scale and grade of the recently discovered Kamperman prospect at Feysville,” Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“FRC267 was drilled to infill the 80-metre sectional spacing between previously reported intersections of 35 metres at 2.19g/t gold and 5 metres at 5.89g/t gold.

“To have returned the widest, highest-grade intersection seen at Kamperman to date with such consistent gold mineralisation down the length of the reported mineralised zone, was especially pleasing.

“The potential for Kamperman to become a valuable contributor of high-grade satellite ore feed to the Mandilla gold project development continues to increase with every hole drilled.

“With assay results from a further 15 RC-holes still pending, we are confident that the best may yet be to come.”

Astral Resources Drills More High-Grade Gold at Kamperman

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) recently completed a three-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the company’s 100 per cent-owned Feysville gold project located between Kalgoorlie and Menzies in Western Australia.

Astral Resources drilled the three RC holes at the Kamperman discovery, achieving high-grade assay results, grading up to 12.6 grams per tonne gold, which the company declared to further confirm the high-grade potential of this new discovery.

Best results received from the RC drilling completed in the March Quarter included:

FRC263
7 metres at 5.81 grams per tonne gold from 19m, including 2m at 12.3g/t gold from 19m and 1m at 10.4g/t gold from 24m;

FRC264
8m at 2.04g/t gold from 32m, including 1m at 12.6g/t gold from 39m; and

FRC265
12m at 2.12g/t gold from 69m to end-of-hole (EOH).

Astral has drilled 16 holes drilled at Kamperman since January 2023, from ten of which high-grade results have been returned.

Five lines of air-core (AC) drilling were also completed across the western portion of the Feysville tenement package.

A follow-up 19-hole RC in-fill and extensional drill program has also recently been completed for which assays are pending.

“The recent Kamperman discovery within our Feysville project continues to deliver,” Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“On 15 January, we mobilised an air-core rig to site to complete a five-line regional air-core program targeting potential structures in the untested north-western portion of our tenement holding.

“Following completion of the program the same drill rig was converted to an RC configuration to complete 217 metres of drilling in three holes to assist with our interpretation and modelling of the recent high-grade Kamperman discovery.

“This three-hole program yielded high-grade assay results in every hole, further reinforcing the exceptional high-grade potential at Kamperman.

“A follow-up 2,459 metre RC program was immediately completed at Kamperman with assay results expected later this quarter as we continue to unlock the potential of this growing prospect which we have increasing confidence can contribute potential future high-grade satellite ore feed to our broader Mandilla gold project development.”
