Alloy Resources Acquires New Exploration Pipeline Via Dingo Resources

THE BOURSE WHISPERER: Alloy Resources (ASX: AYR) has entered into a binding Heads of Agreement to acquire unlisted public company Dingo Resources Limited.

Alloy Resources explained that Dingo has the right to acquire two mineral exploration projects in Western Australia which Alloy believes will revitalise its pipeline of exploration projects and offer new opportunities for exploration success.

“We have been looking for the right opportunity to revitalise the company’s pipeline of projects and these high-quality exploration plays have the potential to be ‘company makers’ for Alloy,” Alloy Resources executive chairman Andy Viner said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“Through Dingo, we are pleased to be acquiring two fantastic exploration opportunities in Western Australia.

“To complement our JV with Rio Tinto in the Paterson, we are now purchasing a project from Rio in the West Musgrave region which has a well-defined target.

“In addition, we have also secured a large landholding right in the middle of Sandfire’s Bryah Basin exploration areas which has numerous early stage copper-gold targets.

“This year is going to be incredibly busy for Alloy and we look forward to delivering on this huge potential for both existing shareholders and new investors.”

The Morgan Range project is located in the West Musgrave belt of Western Australia and encompasses similar geology to the large Nebo-Babel and Succoth nickel-copper deposits, located some 50 kilometres to the south west, which have been the subject of a recently completed Pre-feasibility Study by Oz Minerals in Joint Venture with Cassini Resources.

The principal target is a strong historical aerial electro-magnetic anomaly (TEM) selected by Rio Tinto Exploration (RTX) for pegging, which has now been optioned to Dingo.

The Bryah Basin project is located approximately 80 kilometres north of Meekatharra in the Gascoyne district of Western Australia.

The project comprises five early stage Exploration Licences covering 260 square kilometres.

Alloy Resources Finalises 2019 Horse Well Drilling Results

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Alloy Resources (ASX: AYR) finalised results for drilling completed in 2019 at the company’s Horse Well gold project Joint Venture with Silver Lake Resources (Alloy 60%: Silver Lake Resources 40%).

Alloy Resources’ Horse Well JV is located in the north-east goldfields of Western Australia and is adjacent to Northern Star’s Jundee Gold Mine.

Alloy is the manager and operator of the JV and is currently sole funding an RC drilling program to earn additional equity.

Results completed for drill testing of the Warmblood shallow high-grade mineralised prospect confirmed shallow supergene mineralisation and defined a new zone, including:

8 metres at 0.91 grams per tonne gold from 16 metres downhole (mdh)
9m at 0.99g/t gold from 29 mdh; and
8m at 1.76g/t gold from 100 mdh.

Alloy explained the most northern hole of the program, AHWR106 was designed to test below previous drilling and has confirmed a typical sub-vertical structure.

The hole was drilled deeper where strong silica-sulphide alteration was observed, and assays of 8 metres at 1.76g/t gold have been returned to the end of the hole indicating a new mineralised structure has been discovered.

“There are numerous significant assays from four metre composite samples,” Alloy Resources said in its ASX announcement.

“The individual one metre samples are stored at the project and will be collected and submitted for analysis.

“Upon receiving these final assays, new geological models will be interpreted and Mineral Resource updates completed.

“Extra one metre samples for metallurgy were also collected from interpreted mineralised zones during drilling.

“Mineralised areas will be reviewed and composite metallurgical samples defined before submission for basic gold leaching and gravity recovery testwork.

“An orientation soil sampling program over the Big Daddy prospect has samples currently being prepared and analysed.

“Initial results are expected in the next two weeks and further analyses is likely to follow.”

Alloy Resources Takes Back Control at Horse Well JV

THE BOURSE WHISPERER: Alloy Resources (ASX: AYR) struck a deal with its Joint Venture partner, Doray Minerals (ASX: DRM) over the Horse Well gold project Joint Venture in Western Australia.

Alloy Resources explained that under the deal, it will regain a majority interest and assume management control of exploration at the Horse Well Gold JV, which is located in the north eastern goldfields adjacent to Northern Star’s Jundee Gold Mine.

“We believe the project is one of the best early stage gold exploration properties in the Goldfields with a shallow high-grade Inferred Mineral Resource of 75,000 ounces at 2.76 grams per tonne gold and numerous prospects at various stages of exploration,” Alloy Resources executive chairman Andy Viner said in the company’s announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

“Added to this is the project’s excellent location adjacent to new discoveries and growing mining centres at Jundee and Bronzewing.

“We believe the value creation opportunity through continued exploration at Horse Well is compelling.

“The company will now complete the handover and then prioritise exploration activities.

“We have advanced drill targets ready to go at Dusk til Dawn and Warmblood, and also air core drill anomalies up to seven kilometres long which are also ready for infill drilling.

“Perhaps the most intriguing target is the Celia Shear extensions to Overland Resources new high-grade surface quartz vein discovery at Coralie Jean which has only emerged in the last quarter.

“All in all it is a great time to be exploring for gold in Australia and we look forward to delivering lots of activity and exploration success.”
