Accelerate Resources Confirms Strong Prinsep Lithium Mineralisation Continuity

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Accelerate Resources (ASX: AX8) recently completed an infill and extensional rock chip sampling program at the company’s 100 per cent-owned Prinsep lithium project in Western Australia.

Accelerate Resources reported that results from the sampling program had confirmed the continuity of lithium mineralisation across the mapped width extent of the main northern pegmatite to 60 metres, and increased the eastern strike extent of known mineralisation by an additional 300m to 1.5 kilometres northern pegmatite trend.

The company describes the Prinsep lithium project as an advanced drill-ready exploration project just to the south of Karratha and a stone’s throw (35km) from Azure Minerals’ (ASX:AZS) Andover lithium discovery.

“We continue to be excited by the high-grade lithium results from our recently completed sampling activities at the Prinsep project, which is located in the Karratha-Roebourne hard-rock lithium belt that also hosts Azure Minerals’ Andover lithium discovery,” Accelerate Resources CEO Luke Meter said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Results from the four north-south rock chip sample traverses over the Prinsep northern pegmatite, as well as extensional sampling, have now extended the known mineralisation at Prinsep beyond 1,500 metres.

“Importantly, these latest assays continue to clearly demonstrate the continunity and potential scale of the Prinsep lithium discovery in the West Pilbara, which gives us great confidence and momentum as we advance towards our maiden drilling program scheduled for early Q2 this year.”

Accelerate Resources Reports Woodie Woodie Manganese Mineral Resource Estimate

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Accelerate Resources (ASX: AX8) has produce a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the company’s Woodie Woodie North manganese project in Western Australia.

Accelerate Resources announced maiden inferred Mineral Resources totalling 1.2 million tonnes at 19.1 per cent manganese (at 15% Mn cut-off).

The company explained the MRE was achieved by integrating historical drilling data with recent Phase 1 to 4 Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling campaigns completed during 2022 and 2023 at the Barra North Area 1, Barra South Areas 3 and 4, and Area 42.

“The maiden Mineral Resources represent a significant step forward for the Woodie Woodie North project and our shareholders,” Accelerate Resources executive director – technical Steve Bodon said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“We are focused on growing the Mineral Resource inventory over the project area, and the company is well positioned to achieve this with the significant upside opportunity the Exploration Targets present.”

Accelerate Resources Poised to Drill Manganese Project

THE CONFERENCE CALLER: Accelerate Resources (ASX: AX8) announced recent mapping has confirmed the discovery of two large, mineralised manganese corridors at the Woodie Woodie North project, ahead of managing director Yaxi Zhan’s presentation to the 2023 RIU Explorers Conference today. The new corridors represented “persistently mineralised trends” analogous to the mineralisation at the Area 42 discovery and were extensions of the world class Woodie Woodie mine corridor, Accelerate said.

Zhan told Resources Roadhouse on the sidelines that the news was quite significant and indicated the potential for a large-scale deposit at Woodie Woodie North.

The project, consolidated exactly 12 months ago, is about 70km from the long-life Woodie Woodie manganese mine in Western Australia’s Pilbara.

Recent drilling at Area 42 confirmed the presence of large and well-developed hydrothermal “Woodie Woodie style” zones, Zhan said.

Results included 1m at 50.8 per cent manganese from 1m, within 5m at 33.7 per cent from surface.

The company is planning to start an aggressive drilling program in April ahead of a maiden resource expected before year-end, Zhan said.

“Today’s announcement basically demonstrates that we can potentially … duplicate the success that we’ve had at Area 42 to all the other corridors,” she said.

Accelerate is aiming to become the next Australian manganese producer.

Zhan said manganese was a critical mineral, irreplaceable in steel production and increasingly in demand for the growing battery and renewable technologies sector.

Accelerate Resources Hits High-Grade Manganese at Woodie Woodie North

THE DRILL SERGEANT: Accelerate Resources (ASX: AX8) is the company to visit at the RIU Explorers Conference next week for delegates interested in manganese with recent results demonstrating the potential of the company’s Woodie Woodie North Manganese project in the Pilbara of Western Australia.

Accelerate Resources reported encouraging results from a Phase 2 drilling campaign at the Woodie Woodie North Manganese project that has confirmed mineralisation extends at depth and over substantial strike length.

The company outlined the recent drilling program has highlighted the presence of large and well-developed hydrothermal (Woodie Woodie style) zones at Area 42, which it considers to have potential for substantial manganese resources to be delineated.

Area 42 is just one of a number of extensive outcropping undrilled manganese targets identified by mapping Accelerate has carried out across the 35 kilometres strike of the project.

“We are highly encouraged by the outstanding drilling results,” Accelerate Resources managing director Yaxi Zhan said in the company’s ASX announcement.

“Thirty of 46 holes returned ore grade intercepts with maximum assays of 40 per cent to 50.8 per cent manganese recorded in multiple drilling locations.

“These exceptional results represent only the very early stages of our efforts to delineate significant high-grade resources across our 35 kilometres long Woodie Woodie North project with a series of extensive high-grade zones already identified across the project.

“Accelerate is continuing to build its unique value proposition to supply the market with a highly sought after, high-grade premium manganese product.”
